WHO
Publications (Copyright and Cataloguing)
All WHO publications enjoy
copyright protection in accordance with the provisions of Protocol 2 of the
Universal Copyright Convention. For rights of reproduction or translation, in
part or in toto, of the publications issued by the
WHO Regional Office for South-East Asia, applications
should be made to the Regional Office, World Health House, Indraprastha Estate, New Delhi-110002.
The designations employed and the
presentation of the material in any WHO publication does not imply the
expression of any opinion whatsoever on the part of the Secretariat of the
World Health Organization concerning the legal status of any country,
territory, city or area or of its authorities, or concerning the delimitation
of its frontiers or boundaries.
Before publication, a
book/publication is to be catalogued by the WHO Library through the programme 'Cataloguing in Publication (CIP)'. The pre-publication
cataloguing information is then distributed widely to booksellers and libraries
worldwide, giving them advance information so that they can select, buy and
process new books. It also helps publishers to promote their new books.
