WHO/Government of India Collaborative Programme

Guidelines for Preparation of Proposals Monitoring & Information on Technical Collaboration

*     Technical Services Agreement (TSA)

TSA is similar to APW but is mainly used to finance research projects.

A TSA is concluded with governments (Central/State), universities,hospitals and other institutional bodies. While preparing the work plans, programme managers should keep in mind any future needs for undertaking research activities in their respective fields, and, if necessary, to include the same in the work plan with appropriate allocation, within the funds available. For the preparation of research proposals, guidelines are available with WRO. All research proposals should be submitted in the prescribed form titled "Application for Research Proposal" available from WHO. These proposals are reviewed

by the WHO/SEARO Regional Research Committee for decision on actual funding
