Dr Suvanand Sahu
is the National Professional Officer (NPO) - TB at the Office of the WHO
Representative to India.His job involves working
with the Government of India in DOTS implementation and expansion through a
network of consultants posted in different parts of India.
Dr Suvanand Sahu
has a MD in Community Medicine from AllMS and a Diplomate National Board in Maternal and Child Health. He
has worked from 1997 with the WHO polio eradication initiative in various
capacities, the last one as Deputy Surveillance Coordinator in charge of
supplementary immunization.
