Mr Mohammad Naseem has been
working in the WHO Country Office India since November 2001 as the
Assistant-IT. He is an IT focal point and his primary responsibility is to
assist in assessment, evaluation, implementation, strengthen, and collaboration in the
formulation of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) infrastructure for the Country
Office and Projects in India.
He also coordinates with the concerned technical units in WHO SEARO/HQ, stakeholders,
and outsourced agencies for implementation of policies and strategies
relating to ICT.
Mr Naseem has also worked for managing Operations Room for WHO SEARO,
whose aim was to make communication available during emergencies.
He holds a Diploma in computer programming
and system management and MCSE certification with a major in GIS, Hardware,
Software, Websites, Application Software, and Networking. Prior to joining WHO he has over five years
of varied experience in the multi-national companies.
