He is responsible for implementation of
in-country fellowships and liaison with the Ministry of Health & Family
Welfare and WHO Regional Office for placement of candidates for overseas
fellowships.
His Job responsibilities include: coordination
with nominated candidates and training institutions for administrative
formalities to be completed for execution of various training programmes proposed by the Fellowships Selection
Committee constituted by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare,
Government of India, for shortlisted candidates. Also, he liaises with
the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare for clearances of foreign
fellows visiting India
to undertake fellowships.
