Mr
Himanshu Sekhar Pradhan provides technical support on implementation and monitoring of
GOI-WHO collaborative programme on emergency and humanitarian action.
Prior to joining WHO India office
in March 2008, he worked with UNDP India for more than four years in the
field of health management, migration & HIV/AIDS, ICT and emergency
management in different capacities and different locations. He worked as
Liaison Officer, for WHO within the UN Tsunami Recovery Programme team in Chennai, India
and facilitated in implementation, monitoring and technical evaluation of WHO
initiated interventions on PsychoSocial Support (PSS) and Health &
Nutrition (H&N) in TamilNadu.
He is a post graduate in Health Management from the
Indian Institute of Health Management Research (IIHMR), Jaipur, India.
