Having worked for more than 31 years in WHO, Mr P. K. Bansal retired from services in January 2003
– his last assignments were those as Ag. Programme and Administrative Officer
in the WHO Country office at Jakarta (Indonesia), Short-Term Professional in
the Office of the Regional Director, WHO/SEARO and National Professional
Officer (Programme and Administration) in the WHO India Country Office. After
retirement, Mr Bansal has been assisting WHO India country office through
short-term TNP assignments.
Before joining WHO, Mr Bansal had worked for about 5
years each with the Bureau of Indian Standards and the Sri Lanka High Commission
in New Delhi.
Mr P.K. Bansal holds a Master’s degree from Delhi
University and a postgraduate diploma in Journalism from the Bhartiya Vidya
Bhawan, a deemed university.
