Swati Thakur joined WHO Country Office
India
in August 2008 as Assistant-IT, her primary
responsibilities include maintenance and upgradation
of WHO India website, Coordinating with IT vendors and Supplies to
ensure efficient procurement and review of technical (IT) proposals. She also
assists in planning and supervision of IT projects, which includes
coordination for upgradation and updation of WHO standard applications.
Prior to joining WHO, she was associated with Compare Infobase Ltd (MapsofIndia.com) for more than three years.
She holds a Masters degree in Business Administration
with specialization in Systems from Guru Gobind
Singh Indraprastha University
and a Masters Degree in Computer Application from Indira
Gandhi Open University. She also holds a Bachelors Degree in Commerce from Delhi University and a Diploma from National
Institute of Information Technology.
