Dr Rajesh Mehta has worked at WHO Country Office India since
March 2006. His main responsibility is to provide technical assistance
for implementing activities
in Family and Community Health Programme areas,
i.e., Reproductive Health, Maternal Health/Making Pregnancy Safer, Newborn
and Child Health, Adolescent Health, Nutrition, Gender and Women Health, and
Nursing-Midwifery under the Government of India-WHO collaborative programme.
He has served for more than 25 years in various capacities, as primary
care paediatrician, tertiary care paediatrician, adolescent health
specialist, undergraduate and postgraduate teacher, researcher and national
level trainer.
He is a Medical Doctor with degree of MD Paediatrics from University of Delhi.
