Implementation of RCH-II ARSH Strategy

WHO has supported National Trainings to develop a pool of trainers who can be available for states to conduct training of their programme managers, medical officers and health workers. A pool of more than 60 trainers at National level has been raised. Operational guidelines are also available with states in the form of ‘Implementation Guide’. However, the states may need further support in formulating implementation plans for Adolescent friendly Reproductive and Sexual Health Services (AFRHS) as per the operational guidelines described in the ‘Implementation Guide’. WHO is supporting a number of regional planning meetings where 5-6 states would be brought together and the concepts of standards-based approach for quality implementation of ARSH strategy shared with them. It is also planned to offer assistance in developing district level action plans to implement ARSH strategy and intensely monitor the implementation in five districts.
