Development of Operational Strategy for Implementing ARSH
The Government of India
organized National Consultation on RCH II-ARSH Strategy (2-5 September 2005)
with the support of WHO and UNFPA to develop operational guidelines for
implementation of ARSH strategy. A team of experts from WHO-HQ, Regional
Office and Country Office and a team of experts from UNFPA Regional and
Country Office worked together with a range of experts from the country in
this consultation to develop the standards based approach for implementation
of ARSH strategy and in the process ‘Implementation Guide’
has been developed. This guide describes operational guidelines for the State
and District programme managers to implement ARSH
strategy within the public health system.
