Terms of Reference
|
· To engage the `Centre' in development of Regional Strategy for Vision
2020 as well as for development of National Vision 2020 for India. Also
provide expertise for development of National Vision 2020 Action Plans for
other countries of the Region.
· To provide opportunity for training of Ophthalmologists and midlevel eye
care personnel for India and other countries in the Region.
· To provide continuing medical education for different categories of eye
care personnel particularly ophthalmologists, paediatricians
etc. with emphasis on prevention of childhood blindness.
· Help in conduct of multisectoral research in
the area of eye health workforce and operations research for implementation
of Vision 2020: The Right to Sight.
