|
Comments & Composition of
the Institute
|
BARC
is the apex laboratory for radiation medicine and its calibration and is
also an active member of network of IAEA. It has contributed tremendously
in devbeloping of QA programme
and the incorporation of necessary modification to the present TLD dose
evaluation system to monitor the dosimetry
accuracy at the radio therapy centres in
SEAR.
|
|
Statutory functions of the
institution ; formal links with other institutions
|
Institute
is engaged in training trainees from neighboring countries in calibration technqieus and dosimetry, the
Institute is very well equipped and has good number of trained staff.
