WHO-India is supporting over 30 national training institutes, engineering and medical colleges across the country which are celebrating the World Health Day 2008.The activities includes seminar, conference, technical discussion, talk show and video shows on “Protecting Health from Climate Change” .

At Kolkata, the Institute of Public Health Engineers in West Bengal has organised several activities, supported by the State Department of Environment and Forests. The Honourable Governor of West Bengal will be inaugurating the proceedings and senior government officials will be attending.
