World Heart Day 2006
The
World Heart Day was observed on the 24th of September by the
National Heart Institute (WHO Collaborating Centre for Preventive Cardiology)
in New Delhi
with a rally in the morning and a public meeting in the afternoon. Dr. S. J.
Habayeb, WHO Representative to India,
attended the public interaction programme along with leading cardiologists in
New Delhi.
The activity was supported under the GOI-WHO collaborative programme.
