State level Capacity Building
Workshop on Health Accounts, January 29-30, 2004
It is necessary to impart
training at the state level, if NHA initiative in the country has to be seen
to its logical conclusion. Hence the Bureau of Planning, Ministry of Health
and Family Welfare in collaboration with the WHO, New Delhi, is organizing a 2-day workshop
to introduce health officials within state governments to NHA and its
relevance in health planning. Participants will be middle level health
functionaries from each of the state governments and two union territories
with legislature, in the country. Venue of the Workshop is India
International Centre, Lodhi Road, New Delhi.
Workshop should also be seen as a first step towards facilitating the process
of institutionalization of National Health Accounts system at the State
Level.
